Property Asset Management - Guesty Integration
We worked with a startup client to extend their property asset management platform with a new integration module connecting the system to the Guesty platform.
The goal of the project was to synchronize operational data between the two platforms and allow property managers to coordinate asset management activities with short-term rental operations.
OverviewThe client’s platform provides a centralized system for managing physical assets across property portfolios. It supports asset inventory tracking, warranty management, maintenance history, service scheduling, document storage, and lifecycle monitoring.
The platform is designed for organizations managing large numbers of properties such as hotels, apartment complexes, commercial buildings, and other multi-property environments.
Guesty IntegrationOur task was to build an integration module that connects the platform with the Guesty ecosystem using the Guesty Open API.
Guesty is widely used by property managers to automate and organize short-term rental operations, including booking management, guest communication, and property availability.
The integration allows both platforms to exchange operational data and maintain synchronized information.
Key Features
Property SynchronizationProperties registered in Guesty are automatically synchronized with the asset management platform. This ensures that property managers always work with an up-to-date list of properties across both systems.
Calendar SynchronizationBooking calendars from Guesty are synchronized with the asset management platform. This allows property managers to plan maintenance tasks and service activities without conflicting with guest reservations.
Maintenance periods scheduled in the platform are also synchronized back to Guesty, marking the property as unavailable for booking during those periods.
Messaging IntegrationGuesty includes an internal messaging system used by guests to communicate with property owners.
We integrated this messaging functionality into the asset management platform so that property managers can handle guest requests and operational messages directly within the system.
Platform ImprovementsIn addition to the Guesty integration, we implemented several improvements to the existing platform, including bug fixes and enhancements to the billing, invoicing, and internal messaging components.
